Meet Our Voluntary Insurance Leader

Scott Shapard, Managing Director in our Fort Worth Office, joined Higginbotham in 2003 after beginning his insurance career in the early 1990’s. After one year in individual market, he moved to the group market, specializing in voluntary benefits.

He joined Higginbotham in 2003 as the Voluntary Benefits Specialist and serves as the internal subject matter expert, manages the relationships with the various voluntary benefits markets and provides consultation to Higginbotham’s clients.

His years of experience and knowledge of the markets brings voluntary benefits expertise to his fellow Employee Benefits colleagues and Higginbotham’s clients alike by simplifying the offering, messaging, and enrollment processes.
